Another wacky level from the folks over at Team Asobi, Trunk of Funk revolves around a singing tree trunk with arguably one of the most catchy tunes in Astro Bot. Thanks to the green goop platform creating ability, you’re afford a lot more freedom when it comes to reaching far off platforms, which you’ll need given the verticality of the level.

Bot 1
After the flying section, go forward and use the jump pad to reach the level above. Go to the left of the massive tree and you’ll spot the bot riding around on a fawn.
Bot 2 – Brave Biker
At the very back of the large tree, you’ll find a mushroom with the bot standing on top. Watch out for the burrowing enemy in the dirt around the mushroom.
Bot 3
After grabbing the leaf platform ability, climb up and go outside. Hop to the first platform, suck up the goop, then head for the next platform ahead using the ability, then to the next one to find a nest with a bird and an egg. Hit the egg to reveal the bot.
Fill up Astro goop tank whenever you come across a goop deposit on the floor. You’ll need it to build leaf platforms again soon enough.

Bot 4
After acquiring the leaf platform ability, head outside and continue until you go back inside the tree. Build a platform on the steam to get higher, then turn around and use the ability to make a path to the other side of the room. Continue up to the next ledge and across to the final one. Pull on the cord to reveal the bot.

Bot 5
When you get past the second tree section and spot the inflatable smiley face, continue on the path until you come to a group of circling enemies with hard hats. Look left and you’ll see a platform off in the distance. Use the leaf platform ability to reach it. The bot is crawling around like a caterpillar on the platform.

Bot 6 – Spirit Guide
When you reach the first inflatable caterpillar that juts out periodically from the tree, go left. Use the leaf platforms skill to get across to the platform in the distance. Defeat the green bowl enemy then pull the cord to reveal the bot.

Bot 7
Once you can suck up honesty, press on until you come to a large zip in the tree trunk. Use the honey platform skill to reach the zip and up it down, revealing a path to the left. Use the platform ability to reach a platform where you’ll find the bot.
Puzzle 1
During the flying section at the start of the level, fly through the waterfall and grab the puzzle piece at the end of the tunnel. It’s unmissable.

Puzzle 2
To the right of the tree, past the row of flours is a small platform with a creature holding a golf ball. Hit the golf ball towards the hole next to the tree to reveal the puzzle piece.
Puzzle 3
After the bee section where you can first suck up honey, continue on until you come to a large flower that spawns enemies next to an inflatable smiley face. Defeat the flower by creating a honey platform and hitting its head. Suck up the honey left behind the hole to reveal the puzzle piece.
