Apes On The Loose is a level dedicated to the classic Ape Escape series that graced the PlayStation and PlayStation 2, starting with the first game well over 25 years ago. Alongside testing your skill for finding elusive bots, this level all tests your agility and ability to catch these fast moving primates.

Bot 1 – Nervous Ape
The bot is hiding in the bushes on the level just above where you pick up the catching net. Use L2 to track where the bot is then use R2 to catch it.
Bot 2 – Natural Ape
Go through the level until you reach the vertical ramp. Ride it up to the area with the monkey statue of liberty and the bot is just ahead, chase it then use R2 to catch it.
Bot 3 – Cheeky Ape
Head to the fountain to the left of the statue of liberty to find a fountain with a monkey resting on the edge. Approach and the bot will run around the fountain.

Bot 4 – Aerial Ape
Ahead of the fountain on the left of the statue of liberty is a short platform with a green blob enemy on top. Hit the enemy then pull on the cord to get a stick of dynamite. Chuck it at the flying bot circling the rock ahead to get the monkey on the ground. Chase it and R2 to net it.
Bot 5 – Crazy- Ape
Head to the northwest of the statue of liberty, past the fountain and the rock to find a group of bushes on top of a cement platform. Use L2 to track the bot’s location then use R2 on the bush to catch the monkey.
Bot 6 – Sky-Walking Ape
Head to the very north of the statue of liberty. Climb up the ladder to the glass bridge. The monkey is straight ahead.
Remember you can use L2 at anytime to track any nearby monkey bots. To catch one, remember to use the net by tapping R2.

Ride the flower up to the catwalk above to find the bot. Captured by VideoGamer
Bot 7 – Self-Aware Ape
Head to the right of the monkey statue of liberty to find a jump pad. Use it then defeat the green enemy and pull the cord to get a flower. Ride it up to the catwalk above using Square, then grab the monkey ahead.
Bot 8 – Goofy Ape
Once you’re up at the monkey statue of liberty, look right and you’ll see a platform past the cement pit. Climb up and chase the monkey down the ramp then R2 to catch it.
Bot 9 – Shy Ape
In the area with the monkey statue of liberty, look to your right for a cement pit. Use the net on the banana crate at the centre to reveal the monkey. Chase it and R2 to catch it.
Bot 10 – Albino Antagonist
Use the spiral pipe to reach the top of the statue of liberty. The bot is at the top, hovering on a red chair. Defeat the waves of enemies, then pull on the cord and chuck the dynamite at the bot. It will run around the platform. Wait for it to tire and stumble, then net it.
Puzzle 1
To the left of the statue of liberty is a fountain. Hop on the water jet then jump up to grab the puzzle piece.
Puzzle 2
Go to the very north of the statue of liberty and up the ladder to the glass bridge. The puzzle piece is roughly half-way across the bridge.
Puzzle 3
Head to the right of the statue of liberty, use the pad to launch up to a platform with a green enemy. Pull the cord to get a flower that you can use to hover up to the catwalk above. Jump down into the centre of the three paths to grab the puzzle piece.
