As part of a new weekly batch of Anomalies, you can take on a quest called Entity Recalibration to earn 700 Data Fragments. The quest rather unhelpfully says to go out there and kill 10 outlaws without offering up any sort of quest marker or clues about where to find these bandits.
Fortunately, it’s a lot easier than it seems. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to kill outlaws in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, including several known locations where they spawn to help you get the Anomalies quest over and done with quickly.
Where to find outlaws in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
To find outlaws, you’ll need to visit points of interest across that map denoted by a red diamond, but only those located outside of major cities and towns. These are outlaw or bandit camps and exist in every one of the nine major provinces.
It’s worth noting that they repopulate or refresh every time the season changes, letting you revisit already completed camps if needed. Here are several bandit camps in the regions of Izumi Settsu, Yamashiro, and Omi to get you started.
Izumi Settsu outlaw camp locations

You’ll find the Teratsutsuki Den in the Kawachi Heights sub-region, northeast of Makinoodera Temple and southeast of Eboshigata Hachiman Shrine.

You’ll find the Mount Kongo Retreat camp in the south of Izumi Settsu in the Izumi Coast sub-region. It’s located just north of the Mount Kongo viewpoint and southeast of Sakai.
Yamashiro outlaw camp locations

You’ll find the Kikori Camp in the Hills of Meeting sub-region of Yamashiro. It’s just east of Gion Shrine and Kyoto, and also north of Kiyomizudera Temple.

You’ll find the Haunted Tatarigami Village camp in the very northwest of Yamashiro in the Genbu Highlands sub-region. Travel southwest from the Kuramadera Temple and you’ll find the camp half-way up a mountain.
Omi outlaw camp locations

You’ll find the Odani camp in the northeast of Omi in the Goshiki Outlands sub-region. Head up into the mountains northeast of Nagahama and you’ll find the camp below the Odani Destroyed Tenshu fast travel viewpoint.
You should be able to rack up the 10 outlaw kills needed to complete the Anomalies quest by visiting one or two of these camps. Alternatively, travelling around on roads away from settlements also has the chance to spawn groups of outlaws and temporary mini-camps that you can attack to get in the required kills.
