Dataslates are the only collectable you need to worry about in Space Marine 2. Trophy hunters will find these scattered throughout the Campaign and Operations missions. They offer a spot lore alongside progress towards 100% completion.
Due to the way missions are designed, you’ll need to play through the entire mission to mark the Dataslate as collected. With the missions being fairly long, often ranging between 45-90 mins, retrieving all the Dataslates is an undertaking. Here’s where you’ll find all the Dataslate locations in Space Marine 2
Campaign Dataslate locations
Be advised that Dawn’s Descent and Bellem Sempiternus are two levels that are part of the same mission. You need to play through the entirety Mission 6 to get the Dataslates for these two missions, which should take you roughly two hours to complete.
Skyfire Dataslate locations
You need to bypass the plant area after finishing the airstrike objective section. Captured by VideoGamer
Cross the destroyed metal bridge, and drop down the ledge to the right. Captured by VideoGamer

| 1 | After completing the airstrike hold the line objective, you’ll enter the swamp. Go to the supplies drop pod, then up the hill, and look left towards a group of plants. There’s a little grove you can access by shooting the eyeball-looking plants or running through the bamboo shafts. The Dataslate is in that small grove area. |
| 2 | When you reach the ruined operations base and proceed through the swamp objective, you’ll find a broken metal bridge. Tyranids will spawn and jump the broken bridge to reach you. Proceed to the other side to the structures. On the right is a drop-down ledge with the Dataslate near a rock wall. Do not take the left drop-down to rendez-vous with the IG or you’ll miss it. |
| 3 | Go through the bunker after holding off enemies with the Cadian 8th regiment during the first level. When you’re inside the bunker, travel up the first set of stairs to find the Dataslate. |
| 4 | When you reach the defend the orbital cannons objective, you’ll get an objective update. You’ll be told to go and repair the targeting relay system on one of the cannons. Progress towards the cannon until you reach the elevator that takes you up the cannon. There’s a Dataslate near the elevator resupply points. Severance Dataslate locations

Check for a terminal once you’re clear of the first Ripper room that opens up a secret area and pathways near a large fan leading to the Dataslate. Captured by VideoGamer

Turn left and you’ll find an abandoned Rhino IFV in a bushy area. The Dataslate is behind the Rhino, along with a Bolt Sniper Rifle. |
| 2 | Proceed through the swamp to reach the Mechanicus facility. Magos will open the large blast door to the facility after the Lictor boss fight. Enter the facility and you’ll find a small defensive Guardsman position directly opposite the entrance. The Dataslate is next to the cover. | 3 | Proceed through the facility using the Pyreblasster to deal with the Tyranids. You’ll then enter a metal indoor area. On the left is a terminal you can interact with before going up the stairs. Machinus Divinitus Dataslate locations

Defeat the Carnifex and head into the platform area. There’s a Dataslate in the darkness. Captured by VideoGamer

| 1 | In the early stages of the level, you’ll ascend up a sloped building where the ranged Tyranids have the high ground. You’ll take the position and have to hold off a counterattack. After the counterattack ends, access the building on the left side of the ramp. Once inside, go left towards a balcony that overlooks the sloped building you were defending. The Dataslate is on the bench on that balcony section. |
| 2 | Enter the large Mechanicum building where the Tyranids are sneaking around the vent rooms. Follow the path to the other side of the chasm. Servant of the Machine Dataslate locations

| 2 | Proceed to the jetpack section of the level. You’ll see several groups of Tyranids being fended off by Imperial Guardsmen. After the second battle on the jetpack, you will proceed through a checkpoint door. As you enter the new area, you’ll find a cargo pod near some crumbling buildings. Use your jetpack to jump up to the ledge above to find the Dataslate. Don’t progress past the cargo pod, as your jetpacks will heavily beep at you, and turn off. If this happens, reload the checkpoint to get back to the blast door and jump to the ledge above the cargo pod. |
| 3 | After defeating the Tyrnaid Carnifexs on the ledge, you’ll enter a resting area for Guardsmen near a shrine. Dawn’s Descent Dataslate locations

| 4 | Go down the large elevator that leads deeper into the mine. Your objective should be to reach Aurora. You’ll enter a flat bridge area that leads to a road that goes down the hill on the left side. there is a small terminal area with some Necron devices on the right of the road. The Dataslate is next to the terminal connected to the Necron centipede. |
Bellum Sempiternus Dataslate locations

Reach the catacomb after defeating a Chaos Sorcerer then head up the stairs in the church area to find the Dataslate. Captured by VideoGamer
After meeting Calgar, you’ll come to a ruined building where you find the Dataslate near rubble where the church pews should be. Captured by VideoGamer
The Bellum Sempiternus level is the second half of the sixth mission in the campaign. You’ll need to progress the previous stages of this level to start finding these.

Operations Dataslate locations
There are two Dataslates to find for every one of the six Operations missions. It’s worth dialing down the difficulty to make the process of finding them all easier.
Inferno Dataslate locations
Turn right as you enter the next part of the swamp to find a Dataslate hidden in a bunker area. Captured by VideoGamer

Decapitation Dataslate locations

Enter the ventilation tunnels and check for the dead end with the gate when chasing the Hive Tyrant. Captured by VideoGamer

| 2 | Proceed through the level and reach the end area where you chase the Tyrant into the piping and vent area. As you enter the ventilation area, you’ll encounter lots of Tyranids. When you turn the corner, keep your eyes to the right for a dead end near some vent fans. There’s a Dataslate hidden right up against the dead-end gate. |
Though playing Operations solo in Offline Mode won’t save your progress (levelling, Requisitions, and so), it does register Dataslates. It’s a useful option if want more time to explore without the pressure of playing with other players.
Vox Libertas Dataslate locations
