Since its launch, Marvel Rivals has grabbed players with its bright lineup of Marvel heroes and villains, but it is the game’s stunning selection of skins that is fueling excitement. From the MCU-inspired Zombie Doctor Strange to Peni Parker’s Yatsukahagi, these cosmetics have become popular, with players eager to glam up their favorite characters.
The Season 2 debut, which included Emma Frost and a Krakoa-themed map, further fueled the frenzy, with NetEase Games releasing premium skins that combine comic-book flair with bright new designs. However, some fans have expressed concerns with expensive bundles, such as Peni Parker’s 1600-units Yatsukahagi set, sparking discussions regarding accessibility.
Now, NetEase has taken steps to redefine personalization with a new costume color customization option, which is now available. This upgrade allows players to customize color palettes for certain skins, but not without a catch. You’ll need to spend 600 Unstable Molecules to get a custom color for a skin. Here are all the skins with their own color options.
All Customizable Color costumes available in Marvel Rivals
As of yet, Marvel Rivals only has four costumes with a customizable color option available. These options can be accessed from the in-game store or can be seen under Heroes -> Costumes menu for a particular hero.
Here are all the skins that offer customized color option:
- Psylocke Vengeance skin – 1400 Units: Phantom Purple color option available
- Winter Soldier Blood Soldier skin – 1400 Units: Winter’s Wrath color option available
- Magik Punkchild skin – 2000 Units: Rosy Resilience color option available
- Luna Snow Mirae 2099 skin – 2000 Units: Plasma Pulse color option available
How to get custom costume color in Marvel Rivals
In order to check whether a costume has custom colors or not, head to the Marvel Rivals store and look for the customize color wheel on the bottom right of the tile. If a costume has that, then that has a different color option for that skin that you can customize.
Customized Color Costumes will cost 600 Unstable Molecules for exchange. Unstable Molecules can be exchanged from Lattice at a 1:1 rate. You must first obtain the costumes before you can customize them from the shop. Initially, only a select few costumes will have this feature, and NetEase will expand more over time to other costumes.
When you customize your colors, this will affect Intro Animation, MVP, and Emotes. Starting Season 3, NetEase will provide more options to obtain Unstable Molecules.
