The new Fortnite Chapter 6 island brings a bunch of things for you to do around the island, whether it’s discovering secrets, defeating demons, or returning adorable sprites back to their shrines – the island is full of magic and Japanese legends. This season also brings back NPCs who are scattered around the entire island that you can interact with to either make use of their services, challenge them, or even just have a friendly chat to learn more about this season’s lore or complete quests. As compared to the previous Fortnite season, Chapter 6 Season 1 now has 18 NPCs you can interact with. While some of these offer a classic NPC experience while providing services, some are there just to uncover mysteries and challenges for duels. That said, below is a map with each of their locations marked where they spawn:
Keep in mind if you’re not able to find an NPC at the exact same spot, it’s because they’ve either been hired by an enemy or they’ve been eliminated.

Boss NPCs in Fortnite
There are two bosses in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 that you’ll come across – first is Night Rose who you’ll find at the Demon’s Dojo POI and the second is Shogun X who spawns with the Rift Island mid-match.
Upon defeating the Night Rose boss, you can get the Night Rose Medallion, which makes your weapons reload themselves. You’ll also get a mythic Veiled Precision SMG and a Void Oni Mask with more charges than the epic rarity variant. When you defeat the Shogun X boss, you’ll get the mythic Typhoon Blade, mythic Fire Oni Mask, and a Wanderer Medallion, which grants infinite stamina and invisibility while sprinting.
