Alan Wake 2 mission list – all Saga and Alan quests

The Alan Wake 2 mission list includes all the playable chapters in Remedy’s long-awaited sequel. The game is split into two playable narratives that centre around FBI agent Saga Anderson and writer Alan Wake. Saga’s quest line is known as Return, while Alan’s is called Initiation.

From the Return 3 Local Girl mission onward, you can freely swap between Saga and Alan’s missions by interacting with the bucket and mop in any of the janitor’s rooms, such as the one in the Elderwood Palace Lodge in Bright Falls.

There’s no preferred way to play, so prioritise which storyline appeals to you most then hop back to the other when you’re ready. Note that due to the narrative-heavy nature of Alan Wake 2, the game doesn’t have any side quests, meaning there are no optional missions nor any you can miss.
