Fortnite just introduced Sidekicks, companion pets who will be released on Saturday. These pets will follow players around, react to the world, and have special emotes. Most of them will come to the Item Shop, although Epic Games will give players a free pet in the first week of November. Players will receive Bonesy, a popular pet from Chapter 1.

As previously leaked, many pet back blings will be converted to Sidekicks. The first such Sidekick will be Bonesy, and anyone who owns the back bling will receive a Sidekick item shortly after the launch of The Simpsons season.

How to Get Free Fortnite Sidekick?

Players who own the Bonesy Back Bling will receive the Bonesy Sidekick automatically on November 7. The item will not be given to all eligible players right away. Instead, Epic Games pointed out that it may take a while for everyone to see the new Sidekick.

The Bonesy Back Bling first arrived back in Chapter 1- Season 6, as part of the Fortnite Battle Pass. This lovable pup quickly became one of the most iconic pets in Fortnite history, riding proudly on players’ backs as they explored the island. Now, Bonesy is returning in a grand way, as a Sidekick!

The first Sidekick in Fortnite will be Peels, debuting in the next Battle Pass on November 1! Most Sidekicks can earn Sidekick Points (SP) simply by tagging along with players in matches. Racking up SP offers special customization options and rewards.

Fortnite players who don’t own Bonesy will be able to grab him from the Item Shop on November 7. Besides him, Epic will release Spike and Lil’ Raptor, while a cat Sidekick will arrive shortly after.
