Another week has been and gone as we edge ever closer to Christmas! Hahahahahahaha. It’s still six weeks away, people! Stop talking about it every moment of every day. And for most of us it’s just a single day where we eat too much and open presents containing things we’ve decided to withhold from ourselves for months despite buying them from a financial pot we’ve contributed too. I like Christmas, actually, but just hold off with the cheer for a little while longer, please. Anyway, here’s what happened on the VideoGamer Patreon last week.

Let’s Play Skyrim (Special Edition) Again

Skyrim Patreon stream capture

The week started with Alice and Colm once again venturing through Skyrim Special Edition (on Xbox One in case you were wondering) for our $15 or more VideoGamer Patrons. Alice loves Skyrim, and Colm is a human (so is Alice, I should add). What a perfect combination for a Skyrim Let’s Play.

Podcast time with extra, early, goodness

In this week’s early (Patrons who pledge $5 or more a month get the VG UK Podcast a day earlier than normal people) VG UK Podcast, Alice, Dave, and Sam talked about the next-generation (sort of) of consoles as Dave’s been playing around with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on the PS4 Pro.  In the exclusive extra part of the podcast the discussion returns once again to how people eat. Will this issue never die? Probably not, because people that don’t eat normally ( like me) are, frankly, very odd!

More of the return of Right to Reply

A living legend!

Right to Reply made its return, and VG Patrons who donate $10 or more per month got treated to some extra bits. These extra bits include a superb sequence with me, Tom Orry, giving an insight into the setup that goes into recording a video at VideoGamer. It’s thrilling stuff. Other VideoGamer staff members probably said interesting things too, but what you’re really paying for here is Tom Orry screen time, which sadly often isn’t long enough most of the time.

VG Versus definitely went without a hitch

Playroom VR live stream

Rounding off the week was a lovely edition of VG Versus Live for $15 or more a month Patrons, in which Colm, Sam, and myself (Tom) played quirky PlayStation VR freebie The Playroom VR. In it, Sam donned the headset to enter the VR world, while Colm and me stayed in the real world and either helped out of competed against Sam. For a free game it’s surprisingly good fun.

The Patreon rewards for this week are already popping up! If you like the kind of stupid stuff we do, please consider supporting us. It really means a lot to us.
