Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

Recommendation of the Week: Prince of Persia - PC

We loved the console versions of Prince of Persia, and thankfully PC gamers haven't had to wait too long to get their hands on the game. We'd recommend a game pad (ideally a 360 controller) and a pretty beefy system, and if you've got those you're in for a treat. We weren't too keen on the Prince himself, but he grows on you as the game progresses. And yes, you can't die, but we'd much rather have an instant checkpoint system than have to repeatedly hit re-load last checkpoint on the Game Over screen.

The new releases have well and truly dried up, but there are some great deals to be had if you didn't buy some of the big games released over the last month or so.
