Those making bloody chunks out of their opponents are wondering when is the next Mortal Kombat 1 patch?
The latest game in the long-running beat-em-up series released to some pretty high praise a few weeks ago, including our glowing Mortal Kombat 1 review here. However, as is the case for most fighting games, frequent updates and patches are a nature of the beast – whether that be for balancing the many Mortal Kombat 1 fighters or to fix bugs like the unfortunate Player 1 advantage bug that players have found. If you’re suffering from the latter especially, you’ll be wanting to know when the game’s next patch will land. Luckily, we can answer that question for you.
Here’s everything we know so far about the next Mortal Kombat 1 update.
When is the next MK1 patch?
According to the official Mortal Kombat Games Support website and the game’s official Twitter account, the game’s next patch has been delayed due to prevalent server issues. Instead of dropping on September 29, 2023 as planned, it will now be released in the first week of October instead. An exact date has not been provided by the developers.
Mortal Kombat 1 next patch release time prediction
While an official time for the patch to be deployed has yet to be announced, the game’s most recent patch actually arrived earlier this week. Therefore, we would expect the next patch to drop roughly around the same time, so we’ll predict the patch will arrive around 8pm BST/12pm PT/3pm ET. It should be noted though that NetherRealm hasn’t established a regular pattern for patch times yet, and due to the rapid nature of the fix – plus having to go through certification etc – this time may change.
What is in the next MK1 patch?
While we obviously don’t know the full details just yet, we do it’ll fix at least two key issues. The first is the nasty Player 1 Advantage Bug that was reported by players earlier this week. The second thing the patch will fix, as per the Support article, is a “fix for the issue causing missing inputs when using kameos.”
