With the release not too far away at all, you might be wondering if there is any Tears of the Kingdom early access.

You might be thinking that a pre-order of the latest Zelda series flagship game could land you the opportunity to play the game early, so let’s dig a little deeper here.

Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to Breath of the Wild, which was widely received as one of the greatest games of all time. It’s therefore no wonder that avid fans of the series are looking to step into the little booties of the Hero of Time early.

While the Ocarina of Time isn’t exactly real, the possibility of there being early access to Tears of the Kingdom certainly is.

Does Tears of the Kingdom have early access?

Unfortunately, Tears of the Kingdom doesn’t have early access. While there are Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of the game, they do not launch with the added bonus of having early access. Like we saw with Jedi Survivor, the lack of early access may have been implemented in order to prevent the leak of spoilers. It’s possible that in order to keep spoilers low, Tears of the Kingdom has no early access either.

Are there any other ways to play Tears of the Kingdom early?

At the moment, there are no ways to play Tears of the Kingdom early. The game will be available on the Nintendo eShop, and also in physical copies, so the only potential possible way would be the New Zealand trick.

This trick is used to bypass the time-zone lock that games are protected by. If a game releases at regional specific times, e.g. Midnight in all regions, then setting your time-zone to that of New Zealand’s potentially allows you to access the game before others.
