We’re here to answer the question of whether Jedi Survivor Deluxe Edition is worth it.

Nowadays almost every big release comes with multiple editions. The premium or deluxe versions typically offer early access to the game, physical memorabilia or unique in-game perks.

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, is one such big game, existing in Standard, Deluxe and Collectors Editions. The Collector’s Edition sold for an eye-watering $299.99, came with a tonne of physical unique collector’s items and promptly sold out. This means you are only able to currently purchase either the Standard or Deluxe Editions.

The Standard Editions comes with nothing but the game itself, unless you pre-order, in which case you get the special Hermit Cosmetic pack of digital items. The Deluxe Edition will set you back an extra $20 bringing the total to $89.99. So what do you get in return for this and is it worth it?

Jedi Survivor Deluxe Edition worth it?

With the Star Wars Jedi Survivor Deluxe Edition, in return for your $20 investment, you get access to two extra Cosmetics packs, as well as the Hermit Cosmetic Pack included if you pre-order the Standard edition.

These packs are comprised of digital items that you can apply to your character and that cannot be gained by any means within the game itself. One of these is called the Hero Cosmetic Pack and the other is the Galactic Cosmetic Pack. Each includes its own Lightsaber, Droid and Costume.

Now, getting a few digital outfits might seem like a poor return for shelling out an extra $20, and it is true that the lack of any physical items or early access to the game will make many opt for the cheaper Standard edition.

However, what is important here is that these two packs are inspired by classic Star Wars characters. The Hero pack is based on the look of Han Solo and gives you his iconic blaster. The Galactic pack mirrors the costumes and Lightsabre of Luke Skywalker and the Hermit one does the same for Obi-Wan Kenobi.

This means that any hardcore Star Wars fans will be able to essentially play as the iconic character from the original films, in return for a one-time payment. For many, this will be worth it. Don’t forget there is no other way to get access to these packs.
