Meta has released a new subscription service that goes by the name Meta Verified, but it comes at a price. Instagram and Facebook users who sign up to Meta Verified can get a blue verification badge. At the beginning of 2023, Meta unveiled that it was trying out a new verification system for its platforms. The subscription service gives users access to extra features on both Instagram and Facebook at a monthly cost.

What is Meta Verified?
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Meta verified in February 2023. Essentially, Meta Verified is a paid subscription service where Facebook and Instagram users can get a blue verification badge after they submit government ID for authentication. It is not just a blue tick that comes with the subscription service, users can also access extra features. These include exclusive stickers on both Facebook and Instagram, 100 Stars a month to use on Facebook, access to direct account support and proactive account protection.
Where is Meta Verified available?
Meta Verified subscription is available to purchase in:
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- New Zealand

How to buy Meta Verified?
To buy Meta Verified, you will need to apply by following these steps:
- Open Instagram or Facebook
- Select your profile and then Settings
- Click Accounts Center
- Select Meta Verified to start your application
- If you are eligible for the subscription, you can then select your account name and then Continue
