Meta has launched their Twitter rival Threads, and many are wondering how to follow everyone on Threads.

Threads is an app for text-based conversations, much like how people use Twitter. The platform has already amassed over 10 million sign-ups within the seven hours of its launch, though it’s worth adding that once you sign up for Threads, you can’t delete it without deleting your Instagram account too. Despite the privacy concerns, Threads has so far seen a fairly warm reception. It’s clear people are keen to hop on board a popular new Twitter alternative, and Threads looks like it could be the place.

So, as people settle into the new social platform, we’re covering how to make sure you’re following everyone on Threads.

How to follow everyone on Instagram on Threads

Not only can you keep your Instagram username with Threads, but you can also keep your followers too. Let’s now be clear on how to follow your Instagram followers on Threads.

  1. Login to Threads with your Instagram account.
  2. Import your Instagram details including bio, name, and links.
  3. Then, you get the choice to follow all the accounts you’re already following on Instagram.
  4. You can also individually choose who to follow if you want to declutter your Threads feed.

Stick around if your Threads feed is full of random accounts you didn’t already follow.

How to change your Threads feed to accounts you follow

If you’ve just joined Threads, you might find your feed is full of posts, or threads, that you don’t follow. Follow these instructions if you want to reduce the noise and keep things personal.

  1. Tap on your Threads Profile.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Go to Threads and replies.
  5. Change your settings to From people you follow.

And there you go – your Threads feed should now only be showing posts from the people you follow only. We’ve also covered how to get your Threads account verified for those with big plans for their Threads account.
