January 17 marked the unveiling of the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series and the availability to pre order via Samsung’s official website. The S24 Plus was released alongside the S24 and the S24 Ultra. Samsung is still running offers that allow you to your new phone for a lower price. The S24 Plus is available in several color variations including: Titanium Green, Titanium Blue, Titanium Orange, Titanium Violet, Titanium Yellow, Titanium Black, and Titanium Gray.

Unveiled at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on January 17, all S24 flagships are available to purchase in store and online from today, January 31.

The S24 Plus will typically cost $999.99 for 256GB of storage or $1119.99 for 512GB, which matches the S23’s starting price for 256GB. However, for the release date, Samsung is offering a sale that reduces both the prices of the 256GB and the 512GB packages down to $449 and $569 respectively. As well, Samsung offers a financing option of paying a smaller fee over 24 months – right now this is $18.75 per month – alongside student discounts and options to trade in old mobile devices for an upgrade.

With a 6.7 inch Quad-HD+ display, Dynamic AMOLED 2X display technology, and 120Hz refresh rate, the S24 Plus also comes with Optical Zoom 3x, Optical quality Zoom 2x and Digital zoom up to 30x rear cameras, and UHD 8K video recording capabilities.
The S24 Plus comes armed with 12GB of RAM and your choice of storage capacity, either 256Gb or 512GB depending on your storage requirements and/or budget. The S24 Plus has a Deca-core and CPU speed of up to 3.2 GHz. Coming with the S24 Plus is a 45W USB-C charging cable, promising to charge up to 100% within an hour with wired charging. All S24 flagships support wireless charging alongside Bluetooth v5.3 compatibility.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus new design
All three of the new S24 flagships have had a bit of a touch up. Taking a step away from the rounded sides of the S23 models, the S24 series sees a flat-edged design that freshens up the aesthetic of the new Samsung Galaxy line, while still remaining familiar. That being said, the new design has been suggested to be reminiscent of Apple’s iPhone models, since they changed the look of the iPhone from the 12 and up. And with rumors circulating that suggest the Google Pixel 9 is coming soon, the leaked images suggest Google have gone for a similar design as well. The S24 Plus features an armor aluminium frame to protect your phone and features IP68 water and dust resistance, alongside upgraded Gorilla Glass that is promised to be more scratch-proof than before.
