Palworld system requirements on PC

Though it is not ideal to run a game on lower-than-recommended settings, not all of us can afford to buy a new GPU just to run a new game, and it still can be done depending on your current graphics card. If that’s the case, make sure to rig yourself up on the best graphics settings for Palworld.

Minimum System Requirements for Palworld on PC

  • OS: Windows 10 or later (64-Bit)
  • Processor: i5-3570K 3.4 GHz 4 Core
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 40 GB available space

The minimum memory needed for Palworld to run is 16GB of RAM, and you’ll need 40GB of available storage as that is the game file size. It is required to have a CPU of Intel Core i5-3570K or later to run Palworld, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU – which is the cheapest GPU you can run this game on, if you’re looking to swap out your GPU without breaking the bank. Your PC will also need to have a relatively up-to-date version of Windows OS instead, as it is recommended on the Palworld Steam page that you will require a 64-bit processor and operating system, so no earlier than Windows 10. To participate in multiplayer you also need Internet access.

These are fairly humble specs by 2024 standards, but you won’t be having the best time just scraping by. These are early access metrics, but it’s unlikely that the crafting game changes too much by the time Pals are out for the full version.

  • OS: Windows 10 or later (64-Bit)
  • Processor: i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8 Core
  • Memory: 32 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce RTX 2070
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 40 GB available space

The settings recommended by Palworld developers say that while the game will run on an i5-3570K CPU, for optimal performance you should be using a i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8-core processor. It is also recommended to have 32GB of RAM rather than the minimum 16GB to ensure a better performance and minimize any technical issues. You’ll still need 40GB of available storage space to support this game, as well as Internet access to run multiplayer. In terms of OS, Windows 10 or later is sufficient, and a GPU of a GeForce RTX 2070 is suggested for better graphics performance. A 9th Gen i9 CPU and an RTX 2070 are still fast components, so we recommend upgrading your rig if you’re falling short of this requirement for the new multiplayer game.

Maximum Palworld system requirements

For maximum performance I would recommend a new and improved graphics card like the RTX 4070 Super, a GPU that offers high quality graphics without an equally high cost and has one of the lowest power consumptions compared to the RTX 3080 and other GPUs. An up-to-date Intel Core will help to manage the demand put on your processor while you are playing, and a Windows 11 OS will prevent buffering and slower performance later down the line. Check out the best CPU for RTX 4070 Super if you really want to up your gaming experience.

This is not the only platform for Palworld, though. It’s on PC through Steam, but it’s also on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. If you have those systems, then you meet the mininum requirements to play the game. It is better on the new gen console, though.

How to download Palworld for PC

If you meet the minimum system requirements for Palworld on your computer, you’re going to have two options to download it.

While it’s available on Steam at a set price, you’re also going to be able to pick it up from Xbox Game Pass so long as you have a valid subscription.

Whichever platform you choose, all you have to do is head on over to your Steam / Xbox library and download the game. All you need to check is that you have enough space on your hard drive, which is 40GB.
