It has been confirmed by Nintendo that previous Legend of Zelda series amiibo will also be compatible with Tears of the Kingdom and will unlock exciting features, like weapons, materials and paraglider fabrics. Link (Tears of the Kingdom) amiibo is a new, Tears of the Kingdom special figure. Nintendo have confirmed that this amiibo will let players unlock weapons, materials, and a special fabric for the paraglider. Exactly what weapons and materials those might be though, will have to wait for the game to release on May 12 to be confirmed for sure.

This amiibo unlocked one of: elemental arrows, claymores, Cap of Time, Tunic of Time, Trousers of Time, or the Biggorn Sword (comes with meat items).

The Legend of Zelda series Link unlocked one of: Cap of the Hero, Tunic of the Hero, or Trousers of the Hero.

Link (Twilight Princess)

This Wolf Link can summon itself to your side and attack animals and enemies.

Link (Majora’s Mask)

Majora’s Mask Link can unlock mushrooms, arrows, swords, the Fierce Deity Mask, the Fierce Deity Armour, or the Fierce Deity Boots. It may also come with Fierce Deity Sword.

Toon Link and Zelda (The Wind Waker (2-pack))

Toon Link

One of: elemental arrows, swords and boomerangs, Cap of the Wind, Tunic of the Wind, or Trousers of the Wind.

Link (Skyward Sword)

Skyward Sword Link came with three crates containing rupees, arrows, one-handed swords, and shields. It also sometimes dropped the Cap of the Sky, Tunic of the Sky, Trousers of the Sky, or the Sword of the Goddess.

Bokoblin

  3. Sheik (Super Smash Bros. Series)
