Back in February of this year, Steam chose to reveal the intended dates of its regular seasonal sales to give players the chance to save up and get prepared. As established last year, there will be a major sale every season, meaning we can expect great reductions on many timeless games. While these dates are usually given to publishers and developers so they can prepare, this time the information was published publicly to give the sale dates a chance to circulate around the web.

If you are keen to know when the next Steam sale in 2023 starts, look no further. This page will be updated regularly to keep you up to date on information about the next Steam sale.

When does the next Steam sale start?

Hot on the tails of the last Steam Fest, the next Steam Summer Sale starts on the 29th of June, and will end on the 13th of July. This second major seasonal sale of the year will give you just over two weeks to scout out the best deals.

Here are the specific times the sale will start in different regions:

  • PST (Pacific Time) – 9 AM
  • CST (Central Time) – 11 AM
  • EST (Eastern Time) – 12 PM
  • GMT (United Kingdon) – 5 PM
  • CET (France, Germany) – 6 PM
  • IST (India) – 10:30 PM
  • CST (China) – 1 AM
  • AEDT (Australia) – 4 AM

You can follow the event on Discord here.

If you somehow manage to miss this, the next sale we can expect will be the Stealth Fest on July 24th, celebrating stealth games of all kinds, and then the Visual Novel Fest on August 7th which will discount and demo games that tell interactive stories in visual novels.

These Fests will be the two predecessors to the Autumn major seasonal sale expected from the 9th of October. The full line up of the dates for sales so far can be found on the Steam website.
