While we don’t have anything confirmed for sure, this is a fix that has worked for many gamers on reddit, so we feel it’s a good ‘hack’ to start with.

2. Change DNS settings

Similar to the ‘hack’ above, changing your DNS settings could help alleviate the issue. Try switching off your DNS in your phone settings.

For iPhone simply go to Settings > Wi-Fi, then hit the small ‘i’ icon within the circle that you should see on the far right of your screen next to your Wi-Fi network. Scroll down and hit Configure DNS. Then delete any text in the manual settings.

For Android, go to Settings > Network & internet > Private DNS > Off.
