The Honkai Star Rail frame rate might surprise you. From the developers of Genshin Impact, Mihoyo capped the previous game’s PC port to 60FPS. Could we expect the same from HSR? At this rate, it seems likely.
The game released simultaneously on mobile and desktop, and the PC system requirements and mobile system requirements certainly aren’t that demanding. The game is not graphically demanding at all, as we saw with Genshin. Much of this is due to the varying systems it’s available on, with availability on PC, PlayStation and Mobile.

Before the launch of the game, this Reddit thread discussed these rumours on HSR’s frame rate, and it seemed that the community was rightly annoyed at the potential lack of uncapped FPS support. Many theorise that this is due to the PC game being a port of the Android game, which is disappointing to hear.
Following on from the game’s launch, rumours that the iPhone game could see 120FPS were unfurled, and it’s only seemed to ruffle more feathers.

It doesn’t seem likely at the moment that Honkai Star Rail is going to receive any support for an uncapped FPS. At the moment, getting up the best graphics settings for Honkai Star Rail on PC and Mobile is your best best to get the most out of the game.
