The RX 7800 XT is based on RDNA 3, which is AMD’s latest architecture. AMD went all in with RDNA 3 as they brought several massive improvements intended for both performance and efficiency. It is evident by the specifications that the RTX 4070 and the RTX 4070 Ti have overall better numbers than the RX 7800 XT. However, the RX 7800 XT really shines in the VRAM department because it has 4 GB extra memory with higher bandwidth.
