If you’re wondering if there is an RTX 4060 pre-order, we’re going to go over everything you need to know right now.

The RTX 4060 release date is not long away, and while you might know the price and specs already, it’s not really known whether or not you’re going to be able to pre-order the graphics card.

For the past couple of years, it’s been pretty common for graphics cards to run out of stock fairly quickly following launch. Times are a’changing, though, and it seems as though stock issues are settling. Regardless, there will be many people out there vying to get the cheapest RTX 40-series graphics card available at the moment, so securing a pre-order in advance would ease many worries.

The RTX 5000-series release date is still entirely up in the air, so until then, the RTX 4060 might be the most affordable and powerful next-gen graphics chip available, so let’s get into it.

Can you pre-order the RTX 4060?

At the moment, you can’t pre-order the RTX 4060.

It’s not actually that common for Nvidia graphics cards to be available through pre-order. Since the advent of the Ada Lovelace range, we haven’t seen many available prior to the scheduled release time.

This is pretty rare with large hardware releases such as this. For example, the PSVR 2 and ASUS ROG Ally both had pretty substantial pre-order periods.

Will there be an RTX 4060 pre-order period?

It doesn’t seem likely that we ever will see an RTX 4060 pre-order. The latest Nvidia release, the RTX 4060 Ti, was announced mere days before it was available to purchase. With only hours between the two events, there simply wouldn’t have been time to pre-order to graphics card.

It seems as though they’re going to be selling like hot-cakes, and Team Green aren’t relying on securing pre-purchases leading up to the launch.
