Is Diablo 4 on Switch? Fans of Blizzard’s Diablo franchise have waited long enough for Diablo 4 to come out, and with no shortage of new cross-play games, many are wondering whether you can expect to play Diablo 4 on Nintendo Switch.

The legendary game launches on June 6 to the excitement of PC and console players worldwide. Given Diablo 3 was playable on Switch, perhaps it isn’t out of the question to expect to play Diablo 4 on Switch.

Can you play Diablo 4 on Switch?

At the time of writing, there are no announced plans to see Diablo 4 available to play on Switch, according to Blizzard Entertainment. The game will be available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and of course, PC. In other words, Diablo 4 is cross-play. For those looking to launch themselves into the open world of Sanctuary, we can only direct you to the nearest equivalent console – Steam Deck.

If you’d like to hang on to a bit of hope, Blizzard Entertainment hasn’t explicitly ruled out the game coming to Switch. We could potentially see Diablo 4 come to Switch once the game has released, though it would mean Blizzard would have to scale the game back or create a cloud-streaming version of the game. While we definitely believe a game like Diablo 4 is better suited to larger screens, it wouldn’t be out of the question for Blizzard Entertainment to redesign the game so it’s not limited to a UI perspective.

If there is any news coming on this after Diablo 4’s release, we’ll be the first to hear about it, so be sure to check back here for updates.
