The PlayStation Slim is currently available from a wide range of retailers – Amazon are notably selling the console, alongside Best Buy and Walmart. The console is also bundled alongside games such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and MW3.
Now that pre-orders have ended for the PS5 Slim, it’s readily available from different retailers. Prices are generally stable – $449 in the US and £479 in the UK. That said, the PS5 Slim Digital is available for £389, a great price for the console really.

The PS5 Slim could see some Christmas discounts this year
Surprisingly, we saw the PS5 Slim discounted upon its release. It hit store shelves shortly after Black Friday and Cyber Monday really kicked off, and the MW3 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 were discounted slightly. Savings weren’t life-changing, but a discount is never a bad thing. The prices have since gone back up, though there are still savings to be made at the time of writing.
With that in mind, it’s highly possible that those bundles could be discounted again this Christmas. Generally, home consoles see generous savings towards the end of the year, and we’re also anticipating many of our best handheld games consoles to be on sale. It might be a good choice to wait for Christmas sales to pick up the PS5 Slim this year – but there’s no saying it’s going to be for certain.
