Does Baldur’s Gate 3 have ray tracing?

Baldur’s Gate 3, at the time of writing, does not have ray tracing. Nvidia have not yet given any hints as to what their plan is but what we do currently know, is what the best graphic settings for Baldur’s Gate 3 are.

Whereas Baldur’s Gate 3 having controller support seems likely, it has been suggested that ray tracing is not needed. Discussions on Reddit show different opinions on whether it’ll be coming in the next couple of months but as we haven’t heard anything from Nvidia on the matter, we’re not going to get too excited.

Will Baldur’s Gate 3 get ray tracing in the future?

Nvidia have not directly suggested any plans on Baldur’s Gate 3 and ray tracing. However, one user on Reddit suggested that Adam Smith, the lead write at Larian Studios, had said they were considering ray tracing.
