Everything you need to know about how to pre order Apple Vision Pro.
With over 200000 Apple Vision Pros already sold in pre order, there is a race to get a headset before they sell out. As anticipated Apple has now formally joined the VR race, or as they might call it, the spatial computing race. The company announced the Apple Vision Pro on June 5th, a premium new VR headset with a strong focus on augmented reality and folding the possibilities of virtual reality into daily life.
The Apple Vision Pro release is this week, and there is still time to get a pre order in.
How to pre order Apple Vision Pro?
The Apple Vision Pro will be available on Friday 2nd February but you can pre order it via Apple today. The headset prices will be $3499 for 256GB, $3699 for 512GB, $3899 for 1TB. This places it in a whole different price category vs the Meta Quest 3, and many of the other gaming-focused VR headsets we’ve become more used to seeing.
To pre order simply head to the Apple website, and select the size you want. Make sure you have your iPhone or iPad with you, as you’ll need to use Face ID so Apple can pick what size head strap you’ll need. Then follow the instructions on the webpage to complete your purchase.
For those with prescription lenses, there are some additional costs. The readers cost $99 and the prescription lenses cost $149 extra. Zeiss requires you to upload a valid prescription after checking out. Apple still needs to confirm which prescriptions are supported in the headset. It’s worth noting, some early reviews of the Apple Vision Pro have said that wearing contacts was fine with the headset.
