Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 release time countdown, free S-Agent, Polychromes, rewards and how to get

It’s a busy time for fans of gacha games. The Genshin Impact 5.7 livestream is imminent with codes ready to be dished out, meanwhile, games like Wuthering Waves are set to make an appearance at Summer Game Fest. As if all of this wasn’t enough, on the same day there is the launch of Zenless Zone Zero 2.0. Here you will find the release date and time countdown for when Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 will start, along with how to get a free ZZZ S-Agent and other rewards when the second chapter releases.

Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 release date

The release date for Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 is June 5th/6th depending on your region. As per usual, there’s a lot of exciting new content to anticipate from Hoyoverse.

Some of the new content is detailed over on the PlayStation Blog. This includes an exciting new adventure which involves Proxies heading to “Waifei Peninsula — a remote but charming district far from the urban heart of New Eridu”.

Of course, there will be new playable characters to pull through banners. These include new S-Agent Grandmaster Yixuan whose “unique Attribute Auric Ink and Specialty Rupture will bring Void Hunter-tier prowess to your squad”. Grandmaster Yixuan will be accompanied by Ju Fufu, who is the “senior disciple of Yunkui Summit,” and wields a mighty weapon called Hu Wei.

How to preload ZZZ 2.0

Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 is available to preload right now. Per the Hoyolab blog post, the preload size is “about 43 GB” on PC, “about 18 GB” on Mobile for Android and iOS, and “about 36 GB” for PS5.

Follow the below steps to preload:

PC:

• Open the HoYoPlay Launcher, and the “Pre-Download” icon will appear next to the “Start Game” button. Click the icon to begin the download.

Mobile (Android and iOS):

• Open the game and tap the “Pre-Download Resources” icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to start downloading.

PS5:

• After launching Zenless Zone Zero, if the device has sufficient reserved storage space, it will automatically begin the Zenless Zone Zero pre-download after a certain period of time.

When does Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 start?

The release time for when Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 will start is 8PM PT/11PM ET on June 5th, and 4AM BST on June 6th.

This is provided maintenance runs smoothly. Per Hoyolab, maintenance is expected to start at 3PM PT/6PM ET/11PM BST on June 5th, and it’s expected to last five hours. Of course, there is always the possibility of delays.

As compensation for the downtime, players will be rewarded with Polychrome ×300. You can get a further x320 Polychrome right now by pre-registering for 2.0.

How to get free S-Agent and 2.0 rewards

Once Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 starts, players will be able to get a free S-Agent by simply logging into the game. You will be able to choose one out of the following six S-Agents:

• Alexandrina Sebastiane
• Nekomiya Mana
• Soldier 11
• Von Lycaon
• Koleda Belobog
• Grace Howard

In addition to being able to get one out of the above six, players will also be treated to 1,600 Polychromes, and the ability to choose one-out-of-six S-Rank W-Engines. You will also be able to “claim an anniversary-exclusive title and avatar simply by logging into the game”.
