The Nintendo 3DS version of the universally acclaimed Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be released this June, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata revealed during his GDC keynote yesterday evening.

The release date was casually dropped, but didn’t include any specifics on territories.

Super Mario hit 25 last year, and 2011 marks the 25th anniversary of Legend of Zelda, something Iwata plans to celebrate with all Zelda fans.

Iwata also introduced a video for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, offering a new look at the in development Wii game. No release date was given.
