To kick off Zelda’s 25th anniversary, Nintendo has launched a website commemorating all things Zelda. As well as profiles on the 16 games in the series, the site features a video of the orchestral performance from E3, details on a Flipnote Studio that will be held September 9 (complete with samples), and a selection of wallpapers.
The website is just one facet of the celebrations. On October 21, the Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert is being held at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, then arriving in London at the HMV Hammersmith on October 25.
Last month Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, while The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is due for release at some point during the holiday season. In addition to this, Nintendo will be offering The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords as a free gift to fans in September. More celebratory activities will be announced over the coming weeks.
