Ubisoft has revealed that the protagonist in Far Cry 5 will be customisable, including their sex, ethnicity, and their looks.
In Far Cry 5 you’ll play as an unnamed Deputy Sheriff sent to arrest Joseph Seed. Seed is the leader of the Project at Eden’s Gate cult, the group of misfits shown in the key art revealed earlier in the week. Joseph has three siblings he refers to as the Heralds.Â
It’s pretty culty alright. You can see some explosions, planes, and the aforementioned cult, described as ‘a fanatical doomsday cult’, in the reveal trailer.
Far Cry 5Â will be releasing on February 27 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
