Ubisoft has released a new Assassin's Creed Odyssey gameplay video for you to gawk at, offering a look at the epic ruck between your hero and the mythical Medusa. Yes, that Medusa; the one who turns people to stone.
The quest to topple the towering Gorgon isn't merely a case of rocking up in her cave though; you'll have to take on a pretty meaty questline to reach Medusa, who resides in the ruins of a First Civilisation stronghold.
As you would expect, the snake-haired foe has a number of tricks up her sleeves. Aside from trying to turn you to stone, she teleports around the arena and can summon a bunch of warriors to distract you.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 19.
While it may seem like Ubisoft is slipping back into its annual release schedule for the stabby series, the publisher has confirmed that there won't be an Assassin's Creed game in 2019.
