Ever fancied a pizza whilst gunning down your mates on Call of Duty? Well know you needn’t leave the comfort of Xbox LIVE, thanks to the newly launched Pizza Hut Xbox 360 app.

Available now in the US, accessing the app brings the world of pizza creation to your TV screen. Users can build the pizza of their choice using a controller or if you’re that way inclined do the whole thing using Kinect.

The Pizza Hut app is the first of its kind for Xbox 360, facilitating the purchase and delivery of real world goods.

“We’re always looking at ways to give our audience more of what they’re interested in,” Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson told Polygon.

“If you look at our audience, they love pizza. I mean, who doesn’t? It has international appeal, and Pizza Hut is a recognised brand that matches up well with the Xbox brand.”

Those in the US can enjoy a 15 per cent discount during the app’s two week launch period.

There’s no word on the application coming to the UK.

I’m a lover of Hawaiian, but the pineapple is often loathed by fellow pizza eaters. What’s your topping of choice?
