Capcom’s announced that Street Fighter V Arcade Edition will be available a couple of days earlier than its scheduled January 19 release. The catch? You must already own a copy of Street Fighter V to take advantage of the offer.

If the celebrated brawler is already in your PS4 games collection, then you’ll be able to upgrade to the Arcade Edition on January 16, Capcom said in a Tweet.

In addition, PC owners will be able to snatch a copy via Steam with their Dhalsim-like limbs from January 16 regardless if they already own the vanilla version of SFV or not. There’s currently no word on what time you can download the Arcade Edition update.

Street Fighter V Arcade Edition is due out on PS4 and PC. The re-release includes the original title plus all DLC associated with Season One & Two of the punchy sequel.

This means that gamers will be able to select from 28 combatants, each one now augmented with a second V-Trigger, which will ‘significantly change their playstyle,’ says Capcom.
