Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the upcoming R.P.G., will get a Nintendo Direct all to itself this week. And it will be around twenty minutes long.

According to Nintendo, the new game will feature a story that ties together the worlds of the first Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Nintendo recently moved the game’s release date forwards, which isn’t something you see all that often. It is coming out on July 29th, on the Switch.

You can watch the Nintendo Direct below:

Nintendo only announced the game in February of this year and originally said that it would be out in September.

Executive producer Tetsuya Takahashi spoke about the game’s world, in a letter to fans. While he didn’t explaining everything explicitly, he did tease that the final scene in the trailer holds some significance. “What I can tell you is that this visual was conceived quite some time ago. More precisely speaking, we came up with it sometime between the end of development of Xenoblade Chronicles and the beginning of development of Xenoblade Chronicles 2.” He was talking specifically about the game’s reveal trailer.

The series has been popular ever since its first release, on the Wii in 2007. And it gained a lot of traction in the West, too, with the second game arriving on the Switch. Plus, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition topped the charts here, as well.

So, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be out on July 29th. And it is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
