If you’re getting an error message “Ubisoft Connect has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown” on the Ubisoft Connect PC version, here’s what you can try:

• Open the Run command by pressing Windows key and R at the same time.
• Type “%LocalAppData%” in the text box.
• Delete the “Ubisoft Game Launcher” folder.

After that, try to launch Ubisoft Connect again. Then allow for any updates and start XDefiant.

This can tell you if there are any connectivity issues surrounding Ubisoft’s launcher, which can in turn translate to problems when you try to log in to XDefiant.
