Sales of Xbox One hardware jumped by “more than double” in the US in June compared to the previous month, Microsoft has revealed.
The “strong spike in interest” follows the launch of the new Kinect-less Xbox One SKU and the “amazing line up of games announced during E3”. Sales figures for the month, however, were not disclosed.
The latest official figures put Xbox One as having shipped over 5 million units, but they haven’t been updated since April.
PS4, meanwhile, has sold through over 7 million units.
