It’s been a good year for video game releases so far, and next month is arguably the biggest month yet with the likes of Star Wars Outlaws and the heavily-anticipated Black Myth Wukong. In addition, some Xbox Game Pass August 2024 games have leaked ahead of Microsoft’s official reveal, and one of the big additions has just been confirmed.
As mentioned, there is a lot of great new video game releases to anticipate next month. First there’s Madden 25 following on from the success of this year’s College Football, then there’s the release date for Black Myth Wukong, one of the most anticipated games of the year, and next month is set to end with the release date for Star Wars Outlaws. In our Star Wars Outlaws preview, we believe it could be everything you’ve ever wanted from an open-world Star Wars game.
All of the above upcoming releases are massively exciting, but Xbox subscribers are also anticipating the additions to Game Pass. Not all of the August 2024 library additions have been revealed as of writing, but leaks suggest we’re in for a good month.
Xbox Game Pass August 2024 games
One of the leaked games for Xbox Game Pass in August 2024 was Mafia Definitive Edition. Following the emergence of this leak online, the official XboxGamePass Twitter account has confirmed it is joining the subscription service on August 13th.
With the confirmation of Mafia Definitive Edition, below is a list of games leaked and confirmed for Game Pass next month:
- Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato – Aug 6th
- Creatures of Ava – Aug 7th
- Crash Bandicoot N’ Sane Trilogy (leak) – Aug 8th
- Mafia Definitive Edition – Aug 13th
- Madden NFL 25 (10-hour trial Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) – Aug 13th
- Wargrove 2 (leak) – Aug 15th
- Atlus Fallen (leak) – Aug 22nd
- Core Keeper – Aug 27th
All of the above confirmed games come courtesy of purexbox, meanwhile, the leaked selection comes courtesy of the gamingleaksandrumors subreddit citing YouTube videos from prominent leakers, extas1s and Nate The Hate.
