- The Wuchang: Fallen Feathers release window has been confirmed for 2025. No firm date has been given yet.
You might need to make room for a new Soulslike game in your life when the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers release comes along. There is no fixed date for the launch, but we have been given confirmation on the release window. Leenzee Games, a Chinese studio, has based Wuchang Fallen Feathers on historic events, following the story of a fictional character called Wuchang.
When is the Wuchang Fallen Feathers release window?
The Wuchang Fallen Feathers release window is set for 2025. At the time of writing, no release date has been confirmed. The game was revealed and announced during the Xbox Games Showcase in June, giving us a cinematic trailer depicting a gritty, dark tone and a brief glimpse of the action-focused gameplay.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers gameplay details
As per the developers, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a Soulslike action game. From the gameplay reveal trailer, we’ve seen you control a character with a third-person perspective and you fight enemies. It looks like timing is a big focus for the combat, with a parry system in place and the ability to dodge attacks. As you might expect from a game calling itself Soulslike, this is a third-person action game more than anything else. A blog post on the official Xbox website explains the game will feature RPG elements, and this probably means we will level our various stats with point investment.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers trailers
At the time of writing, there has only been one trailer for Wuchang Fallen Feathers. This trailer starts as cinematic, showing a monster inside an old house or temple. A female character, likely Wuchang, attacks the monster but she is thrown outside during the attack. The trailer switches to gameplay. From the gameplay, we can’t see any HUD or stamina system, so it could not have one. We see the character perform a lot of acrobatic movements; dodging and switching weapons on the fly to attack various monsters.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be released sometime in 2025. It will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
