World War Z developer Saber Interactive has confirmed (via PST) details on its post-launch plans for the zombie-slaying shooter, with free content rolling out throughout May, June, and July.
First up is a new mission set in Tokyo, Japan, which will be available this month. In addition to this, World War Z will also be throwing a new zombie type at players, which is able to resurrect itself unless properly disposed of.
June will see a brand new difficulty setting unleashed, while the following month will see a new Weekly Challenge Mode released. New weapons are also in the pipeline, although details have yet to be confirmed.
Beyond this, Saber Interactive is planning other fresh content including extra weapon variants, character skins, and accessories.
World War Z launched on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One last month, and sold over one million copies in just one week.
