World War Z is almost upon is, so Saber Interactive has whet the appetite with an appropriately action-packed launch trailer, set to the thumping tones of Black Stone Cherry's cover of 'War.'
Based on the Brad Pitt-starring 2013 zombie film of the same name, World War Z is powered by Saber Interactive’s Swarm Engine, which is capable of chucking hordes of zombies in your direction. These aren’t the slow-moving Romero rotters, either; they’re extremely fast, and are capable of using their numbers to scale walls and reach greater heights.
World War Z features campaigns across the globe, with locations including New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, and Tokyo. There’s co-op for four players, although if you fancy going against human players as well as the shambling undead, you can plump for the PvPvZ multiplayer offering.
Saber Interactive will launch World War Z on April 16 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
