A World of Warcraft level 90 character boost is now available and costs £40, according to the Battle.net Shop.

The boost had previously been reported to cost $60.

Battle.net’s blurb reads: “This fall, the fearless heroes of Azeroth will clash against the mythic might of the Iron Horde when Warlords of Draenor launches worldwide. Prepare for the coming invasion now by immediately boosting a character to level 90 with your pre-purchase of the expansion digitally.

“Interested in boosting more than one character to level 90 right away? In addition to the instant boost you get with your Warlords of Draenor pre-purchase, you also have the option of buying additional character boosts directly through the Shop in-game.”

To perform the character boost players must take the following steps:

  • Start by purchasing a character boost from the in-game Shop. Then return to the character select screen and click on the Character Boost token.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to boost your character and select custom options (such as talent specializations). Characters level 60 and higher will also receive a skill level boost to their primary professions.
  • Take your newfound powers out for a spin and discover what you’ve been missing. Your new level 90 character will come ready for battle outfitted in level-appropriate gear.

Warlords of Draenor, the MMO’s fifth expansion, launches this autumn.
