The World Cyber Games, in conjunction with iGames, have announced the dates and locations for the US regional qualifier stages of the 2005 World Cyber Games. If you are yet to register for the event, you can do so at the official website. The Cyber Games will feature some of the most popular games around, with competitions for Halo 2, Counter-Strike 1.6, FIFA 2005 and more.

While the top two teams at Halo 2 and Counter-Strike will move forward in the competition, the other games will see the best four players at each progressing through to the next round. The National Finals will be held September 8-10 in New York City. All regional winners will have their food and accommodation paid for and will be given $200 towards travel expenses.

The winners of the National event will form Team USA and represent their country at the World Cyber Games grand final in Singapore this November. The grand final will see over $400,000 given away in prize money. The dates and locations of the US regional events are listed below.
