If the Witcher 2 receives post-release DLC it won’t “be a sword pack,” the game’s producer Tomasz Gop has told VG247.
“I can’t say anything specific, I can’t promise anything for sure, but what I can say is that if at any point in the future we will be announcing and then releasing DLC for the Witcher 2, it’s definitely not going to be a sword pack or anything,” said Gop.
So what will this unconfirmed DLC be if it’s not going to be small item packs?
“If we’re ever going to do this it’s going to be something bigger, and if we want people to pay for this is going to be definitely worth the money. So, if it does happen in the future, it’s going to be more of a campaign,” added Gop.
The Witcher 2 will be released in May, 2011.
