Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey Trailer Releases

Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey has just released its first trailer and it reveals AA Milne’s beloved creations, Winnie The Pooh, Piglet, and Christopher Robin as we’ve never seen them before…

This is because, as the trailer shows and the movie’s title suggests, this is not the characters as many of us know them. Instead, they’re presented here as blood thirsty murderers stalking a group of young beautiful people (mostly young women) echoing their cinematic forefathers, Freddie Kruger, and Jason Voorhees.

As, because AA Milne’s original stories have now entered the public domain in the United States, meaning that anyone can create any type of story they wish using the characters (so long as Pooh isn’t in a plain red shirt though as then the Walt Disney Company lawyers come knocking).

So, if Blood and Honey is the success that its creators, Jagged Edge Productions, are hoping for, not only could we see a sequel, but likely the beginning of open season on all things Winnie The Pooh and the 100 Acre Woods as everyone rushes to get their hands into Pooh’s Hunny pot.

When does Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey release?

No specific release date has been officially revealed yet as the movie’s IMDB page lists it as now being in Post Production (Editing, CG Visual Effects, ADR, Music Scoring, Colour Grading). So it’s likely that we will not see the film until some point in 2023. My guess would be Easter time at the earliest, although, with this being a horror film, a Halloween release date would also make sense.
