NOW READ: How many classes are in Diablo 4?

With the game set to contain plenty of new features, fans can’t help but ask about the inclusion of a few classic ones, such as the reintroduction of the beloved Necromancer class. Now that hordes of players are asking about its return, we’ve decided to take a look at its possible availability in the game along with any other information pertaining to it.

Does Diablo 4 have the Necromancer class?

Yes, Diablo 4 will have the Necromancer class available once the game has been launched. Its inclusion in the game was first revealed during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 and player response was predictably positive as the Necromancer continues to be one of the most popular classes in the franchise.

Other playable classes that will be available once the game has been released include the Barbarian, Druid, Rogue, and the Sorcerer, all of which have been featured in a previous installment. This reinforces the notion that the developers are trying to “get back to basics” by reintroducing favored features that gave the series its popularity.

However, players do still have some concerns about the relative lack of choice when it comes to playable classes as there are only a total of five at the time of writing. Although the ones that have been included are some of the most popular ones in the franchise’s history, users continue to look for novel character types that they can sink their teeth in. It’s worth noting, though, that Blizzard may eventually introduce new classes if they decide to release expansion packs for Diablo 4.
