Wii Sports Club is being made free to play all weekend, Nintendo of Europe has announced.

Featuring revamped Wii U versions of the classic Wii games Tennis, Golf and Bowling, Wii U owners will be able to access Wii Sports Club entirely free from now until midnight on Sunday, March 23.

The free access also includes the recently released Resort golf course, providing nine new holes.

If you start the game for the first time during the promotion period you’ll still be able to use your free 24-hour Day Pass when you start the software again at a later date.

Once your free trial has expired you have the option to buy each sport outright for £8.99 or pay £1.79 for a day’s access.

Boxing and Baseball will be added to the Wii Sports Cub later this year.
