Koch Media has announced the August 28 release of World Snooker Championship Real 09 for Wii.

Developed by Blade Interactive, WSC Real 09 is the official video game of World Snooker and returns to Wii with new features and the inclusion of the new Bahrain tournament.

The game features the sport’s best players, world-famous venues and commentary from Snooker legends John Virgo, Steve Davis and John Parrot. As with the previous title on Wii, players will use the Wii Remote as their cue as they battle to become the world number one.

In addition to Snooker, players will also be able to try their hand at 8 ball, 9 ball and 3 ball and other cue sport varieties, plus take part in the world Pool Championships and a mixed event called the Golden Cue.
