FMV specialist Wales Interactive has announced its next FMV adventure, named Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? and pencilled in for early 2022.
The premise sees a family getting together for their annual quiz night via video chat. Being trapped on a Zoom quiz with your family is bad enough, but it’s made worse by the attempted murder of Uncle Marcus. It’ll be down to you to solve the murder before the killer can strike again, presumably much more successfully.
We’re promised an “eccentric murder mystery with a twist” brought to life by a cast that includes Andy Buckley AKA David Wallace from The Office. Other cast members include Black Mirror actress Susannah Doyle and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides actor Robbie Kay. There’s a few returning faces from other Wales Interactive efforts too, including Georgia Small from Five Dates and Al Weaver from The Complex.
Wales Interactive’s previous FMV effort was battle-royale FMV offering Bloodshore, which launched back in November. You can check out a teaser trailer for the game for yourself down below. Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? is currently pencilled in for a launch in Q1 2022. It’ll be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and on Android.
