Microsoft 365 Copilot was recently launched, though only to a select twenty people. If you’re one of the lucky few – congratulations. But, if like the rest of us, you’re tearing your hair out trying to get onto their AI tool, you’re definitely wondering when Copilot is going to become available.

We’ve already had a look at release date speculation, and the only information is that Copilot is going to be released in the ‘months ahead,’ according to the tech giants themselves. Alongside that, they’re planning to share pricing and licensing soon too, so realistically we’re only going to be able to find out when Copilot is going to be available in the future.

Is Microsoft 365 Copilot available at the moment?

Sort of, Microsoft 365 Copilot has been given to twenty people who are currently in a ‘closed beta,’ or at least, that’s what we’re calling it. There’s been little news from Microsoft about if this beta is going to be expanded on, so at the moment we don’t have our hopes up.

It does seem likely that they’re going to want to capitalise on the current buzz around GPT-4, Google Bard, and the recent explosion of AI, though it’s also likely that they’re waiting to finalise their product before dropping it for the world.

It’s likely that they are awaiting feedback from their clients before they commit to any changes, and implementing improvements will likely take a while. We predict that Microsoft 365 Copilot won’t be readily available for the next six months, though the speed at which we’ve seen AI technology advance may prove us entirely wrong.
